I stumbled onto the forum after clicking through from the Gamefound campaign, you have it pretty well hidden ;)
Fairly new to the table top gaming world. I came into contact with it through a friend of mine, who showed me the Gamefound campaign of Heroes of Might and Magic 3, the board game.
As a kid, i played this game on PC for hundreds of hours and loved every minute of it. I was a bit hesitant about the idea of a board game, and decided to pass on it. When the 2nd campaign went live i decided to join in on the reprint and expansion (my first crowdfunding experience).
Because i had to wait before the game arrived (still do, first part of game should arrive any day now...), i started browsing through a lot of games on Gamefound and ran into a couple i found interesting, Vrahode being one of them. I watched a bunch of the playthroughs and reviews and found the game to be very interesting and wanted to learn more about it. Then i came here and learned that it is just the start of a much (much) larger overall experience, and instantly decided i wanted to join in. I backed the game on the current Gamefound campaign and hopefully the tarrifs wont stand too long in the way of producing it.
In the waiting period I backed a couple more projects and 2 of them where delivered, so i currently own two major campaign board games: Aeon Trespass Odyssey and Oathsworn.
After starting the tutorial playthroughs, i decided i wanted to learn how to paint miniatures first (not a fan of the grey plastic miniatures), so thats actually where i currently am. Painting the miniatures, (and really loving the experience) before i continue playing.
Looking forward to being part of the Vrahode journey, i really hope the next campaign will become a massive succes, as i do feel the game deserves a big audience.
